To get the ‘cameras rolling’ we will be starting from scratch, and need everything from office furniture to turn an empty building into a training school to money to pay the teachers and the rent for the building. We will need to purchase anything we do not get donated. We will need £50,000 to run the school for a whole year.
If you have office furniture or technical film equipment like camera and lights (in working order) you would like to donate, please get in touch. We will be happy to send you a list of the things we need.
A container, going by boat from the UK to Brazil, will be taking all the materials to the site. It will leave the UK at the end of May 2009 and will arrive in Rio de Janeiro at the beginning of July 2009. May 2009 is fast approaching and we still have a lot to do.
